Gotta love traditions! This is one of our families favorite's every year. My mom has made a gengerbread every year since I was a baby! It is so fun, but SUCH A PROJECT!!! The hardest part is deciding which design to do! This year the kids thought it would be fun to do Santa's workshop and a barn for the reindeer, with a set of antlers of course,(this was Sylee's idea and we had to incorperate it, we loved it)! We had two, nearly all nighters finishing these BEAST'S but is was worth every last minute!!! It is so fun to bake, decorate and get covered from head to toe in frosting!
The kids also got to decorate their own gingerbread sleigh's, they have such great imaginations!. We added Sylee's to the lawn of our house and Brett wanted to give his to his school teacher so bad he could hardly stand it! I am nearing completion on my heap of projects and am getting so giddy for Christmas!

Wowzers! Amazing! If you guys are ever in Idaho Falls around C-mas make sure to go to the temple visitor center. They do gingerbread house displays. You guys could definitely enter yours and win!
